72, affectionately known as “Skip”, passed away on March 28, 2018. He was born in Cambridge, Maryland, but lived most of his life in Bayonne. He served in the United States Navy from 1963-1966 before his employment as a Mason worker which he continued until his retirement. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia (nee: Patrick). He is then survived by his two sons, Leonard A. Era Jr., and Joseph J. Era and his wife, Ginny (nee: Farley) Era. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Emma Patricia Era; his brothers, Richard and his wife Laura, Phillip and his wife Beverly, John, Paul and his wife Elaine; his sister Marie and her husband Jim Dorman, brother-in-law Joseph Patrick and his wife Veronica; and by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
